We can't resist bragging about our city and our region. Kalamazoo is located exactly half-way between Chicago and Detroit. It is the cultural, social, business and educational heart of Southwestern Michigan and a true bright spot in the Midwest. Home to Western Michigan University and Kalamazoo College, Kalamazoo is well known for it's high caliber educational community, it's diverse community and it's economic stability.
